We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Dispatcher to join our plumbing team. The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating service calls, scheduling technicians, communicating with customers, and ensuring efficient daily operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses excellent communication skills, and can effectively manage multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming service requests from customers via phone, email, and online platforms.
• Schedule and dispatch plumbing technicians based on availability, location, urgency, and skill set.
• Coordinate daily routes and adjust schedules as needed to maximize efficiency.
• Maintain regular communication with technicians regarding job status, delays, and emergency calls.
• Provide exceptional customer service and timely updates to clients.
• Create and manage work orders within the company software system.
• Assist with light invoicing, including generating invoices, reviewing billing information, and submitting customer invoices.
• Monitor job completion and ensure all required documentation is accurately recorded.
• Follow up with customers regarding completed services and satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, customer information, and technician schedules.
• Support the office team with administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous dispatching, scheduling, customer service, or administrative experience preferred.
• Experience in the plumbing, HVAC, construction, or service industry is a plus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Experience with dispatching, work order, or CRM software preferred.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
